Professional and amateur tattoos, as well as tattoos resulting from accidents (traumatic tattoos) can be successfully removed with our Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. This laser works by targeting black, blue, and some green tattoo inks. Rapidly heating the ink causes it to expand and break into smaller parts. The body's own immune cells absorb these smaller fragments over time, in a nontoxic way.
